John provides the strategic direction and thought leadership for the Organizational Development line of business within Vangent's Human
Capital Division. His areas of focus include OD consulting engagements, executive and leadership development, and the growth and advancement of Vangent's Organizational Development Affiliate Network (ODAN). Vangent's ODAN is comprised of OD and HR professionals and practitioners certified in best-of-breed organizational assessment tools that enable them to extend their solution offerings and increase the value they provide to their clients.

John has spent over 20 years in a variety of strategic human capital fields including organizational and leadership development; executive coaching; employment law; and talent acquisition, development, management and retention. John has served in corporate executive and management positions, as well as internal and external consultative functions with several Fortune 500 companies. From leading a
start-up management consulting company through inception to acquisition, to serving as Senior Vice President of Organizational Consulting Services for one of the world's largest human resources & career consulting firms,
John has remained diligent in the pursuit of improving his organization's competitive posture while achieving 'employer of choice' status for
its people.

John currently serves as a Director on several community service and non-profit Boards including the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, and is a former Board Member with ASTD's Dallas Texas mega-chapter. He remains active in numerous professional circles including:

• ASTD (American Society for Training and Development)
• ODN (Organizational Development Network)

Additionally, John holds certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, a Certified Professional Consultant to Management, a Master Training Specialist, and has been licensed by the Texas State Bar Association as an employment mediator and arbitrator. John has also taught in the Graduate School at Pennsylvania State University Graduate Center at Great Valley, PA.

John completed his Masters of Science studies at Pennsylvania State University, holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Cum Laude) in Instructional Systems Design from Southern Illinois University, and an Associate of Liberal Arts degree
(Magna Cum Laude) from The University of the State of New York at Albany. John spent over
20 years in the US Navy on active and reserve duty, achieving his officer's commission by direct appointment in 1990. Offering both effective leadership skills and technical expertise, John served as a highly regarded and decorated intelligence analyst and operations officer with the U.S. Submarine Force, Defense Intelligence Agency, and Navy Special Warfare Command.
