As Vice President - Learning Solutions, Dave leads the learning solutions organization within the Vangent Human Capital Division.  In this role, he is responsible for development and delivery of learning solutions to clients in the commercial and government sectors.  He oversees analysis, design, development, and delivery resources.   He works with the learning solutions sales and project management leadership in driving the revenue growth strategy for Vangent Human Capital learning solutions.  In addition, Dave oversees Vangent Human Capital government sales and delivery across the entire portfolio.

Dave has been in the learning business for over 20 years, filling the roles of instructional systems designer, programmer, project manager, program manager, operations director, and business unit executive.  His specific expertise is in the area of technology-based courseware development and enterprise-wide learning strategy. He has designed and developed a variety of technology-enabled learning solutions including web-based training, computer-based training, and electronic performance support systems for clients in the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining Vangent, Dave served as the learning leader for the Federal sector within the IBM Business Consulting Services (BCS) Human Capital Management practice area.  In that role, he was responsible for learning and training oriented business development, solution design, and solution delivery to the Federal marketplace, and managed a team of consultants.

Before his work at IBM, Dave was Vice President - Emerging Markets at Interactive Media Corporation (IMC).  In that position, he was responsible for running an organization that sold, designed, developed, and delivered learning and training solutions to clients in the high tech industry, gas and petroleum industries, and pharmaceutical marketplace.  He managed a team of 30+ individuals and ran the Orlando IMC office.

Dave began his career in education as a high school teacher, teaching computer science and math.  He has a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics Education and a Masters Degree in Instructional Systems from the University of Central Florida.
